Rice Lumber was founded in 1930 by Dennison Rice. Wesley Carroll began working at Rice Lumber in 1954 and after 16 years of hard work, Wesley and two partners, Fred Dispirito and Deek Booker, bought the business in 1970. In 1982, Fred Dispirito unfortunately passed away, and in 1985 Wesley bought out his remaining partner and became the sole owner.
Today, Rice Lumber remains a family owned and operated company. It is the type of business that cares about its employees, customers, and neighbors.
