Fb-012 Forstner Bit, High-speed Steel, 1-5/8 In.

The Diablo FB-012 Forstner bit is a high-speed steel drill bit designed to create clean, flat-bottom holes in wood and wood-based materials. This specialized bit drills straight, angled, and overlapping holes, making it ideal for woodworking applications where precise, professional-quality results are required.

Forstner bits differ from standard twist drills by producing exceptionally clean holes with flat bottoms and minimal splintering. The sharp center spur on this Diablo bit accurately locates and guides the bit to prevent walking or drift, ensuring your holes land exactly where intended every time.
