Rice Lumber Company

Every time I go in there is an older gentleman working behind the counter and he knows I'm there for discounts lol and he is always helping me get the best deals possible. Great place to shop. Stock up on the DeWalt shocks and hat kit. 3 pairs of DeWalt socks with a warm winter DeWalt hat. He's convinced me into buying 6 sets so far lol. He sees me coming 5 miles away lol. Can not complain a bit. Great job Guys.

I believe the lumber to be of significantly higher quality that the big box stores, the prices are better, the customer service is better, and they have free deliveries. It’s a no brainer.

I will be going there a lot more often. Very friendly help. I don't know why when you go to Lowe's and Home Depot. It's hard to get help and then when you get helps most of time it feels like they don't want to be there. And I do understand life is hard. But going to Rice Lumber I mean it was a pleasant experience.

I appreciate that I didn't need to be a builder or tradesman to be treated with casually positive customer service.

As a small buisness owner I apperciate the customer service, I'm treated like a "big spender".

Very positive experience working with both Mary and Karen in the Kitchen Design Dept. I was referred to RICE by Burlington Marble and Granite. We designed and ordered a fully customized kitchen cabinet design from RICE and they even helped refer me to a builder to lead the demo and install which has been a great experience. Highly recommended. If I did another kitchen I would absolutely be working with RICE Once the project is completed I’ll post the final photos on this review.

Their new store is hands down the best indoor lumber yard in the area. They always have stock, their yard workers are always easily accessible and willing to help, their gate staff works efficiently and with a smile. As a professional carpenter, I'm quite the regular to the local yards! Rice stands out in every way. I just learned today that they have a kitchen design center in the back! Don't miss them if you're in the market!

Being that I’ve been employed in building materials sales and as a contractor or carpenter for over thirty years, I have high expectations of materials suppliers. I was pretty impressed that these guys were the ONLY place within 50 miles of me that has Douglas Fir ACX plywood in stock. While the guy at the counter inside was annoyingly arrogant, the pro sales guy and the two men in the yard were very helpful. Very clean warehouses and well organized. I will call them again next time I need quality and not just commodity products. (Not close enough drive to do everyday stuff for me.)

The new Rice Lumber location is fantastic and has not only an incredible selection of lumber, but the in store space has way more variety of tools, and supplies than I expected. It is functionally a high quality hardware store for construction projects, not just a lumber yard and their service and assistance has been excellent for all my diy projects and materials needs.
