Metal Roofing
Built Into Rice Lumber
Metal roofing and building products offer durability, versatility, and a clean, modern appearance for residential and commercial projects. At Rice Lumber, we know these benefits firsthand. We chose metal building products for our own facility in Shelburne, Vermont, where long-term performance and weather resistance are important considerations in our changing New England climate.
Our facility features CF Flute insulated metal panels in Slate Gray, combining exterior finish and insulation within the wall system. The warehouse uses 26-gauge PBR panels in Slate Gray on the walls and soffits, with 7.2 Panels beneath the warehouse deck's rubber roofing system. Together, these materials provide a cohesive appearance and durable performance for a large commercial facility.
Metal building products can also offer long-term sustainability benefits. Steel may contain recycled content and is recyclable at the end of its useful life. Its durability and long service life can help reduce the need for frequent replacement.
