Description
The Diablo FB-004 Forstner bit is a high-speed steel drill bit designed for drilling clean, flat-bottomed holes in wood and wood products. Forstner bits create pocket holes and overlapping holes where precision drilling and a clean hole entry are essential. The sharp center spur tip accurately locates the center of your hole and resists walking or drifting on the material surface, ensuring your holes stay exactly where you intend them.
The double-ground, serrated slicing edge minimizes splintering and chipping. High-speed steel construction delivers durability and edge retention even when drilling tougher wood species, extending the bit's working life. This bit handles straight, angled, and overlapping hole applications in all types of wood.
