Advanced Pvc 5/4x6x12 Mahogany Square Edge Deck Board

Product Overview
Bring the warm, luxurious look of real exotic hardwood to your outdoor living space without any of the exhausting maintenance hassles using the TimberTech Advanced PVC 5/4x6x12 Mahogany Square Edge Deck Board. Sourced from the highly acclaimed TimberTech designer collection, this premium capped polymer deck board delivers a rich, multi-toned mahogany wood-grain finish that beautifully mimics natural timber. Because these versatile 12-foot boards feature a solid square-edge profile, they are the industry standard for installing beautiful perimeter picture-frame borders, cocktail top railings, and outdoor stair treads.

Advanced Capped Polymer Engineering
Unlike traditional composite decking that contains wood flour, TimberTech Advanced PVC boards are engineered entirely without organic materials. This 100% polymer core is wrapped in a robust, multi-sided protective cap that locks out moisture completely. It offers unparalleled protection against UV color fading, severe scratch marks, staining, mold growth, and insect damage, keeping your deck looking pristine for decades.

Frequently Asked Questions

• What is the benefit of a 12-foot square-edge board over longer options? While 16-ft and 20-ft boards are great for continuous field runs, 12-foot square-edge boards are ideal for smaller landing platforms, building standard stair treads, or running short breaker boards and picture-frame accents without creating excessive material waste.
• Does TimberTech Advanced PVC expand and contract in the sun? Yes, all synthetic materials expand and contract with severe temperature fluctuations. Because PVC expands along its length, always consult the official TimberTech installation manual to set the correct gap width based on your installation day temperature.
• How do you clean and maintain a TimberTech PVC deck surface? No sanding, staining, or seasonal sealing is ever required. For general maintenance, simply clear away loose leaves and wash the deck surface using a stiff bristle brush, warm water, and a mild household detergent or a dedicated deck cleaner like TimberTech DeckCleaner.
