Frequently Asked Questions

• Is this a complete railing kit or a single component? This item code includes the individual 6-foot composite top rail only. To complete a full section of railing, you will need to purchase the matching bottom rail, internal hardware brackets, support posts, and your choice of vertical infill balusters or cable rail systems.
• Can this composite top rail be cut down on the jobsite? Yes, absolutely. The structural composite material can be trimmed down cleanly to your exact post-to-post span width dimensions using a standard miter saw equipped with a fine-tooth carbide wood blade.
• What is the best way to clean a composite railing top cap? Because the top rail is heavily handled, oil and dirt can build up over time. Simply wipe down the surface using a soft cloth or sponge, warm water, and a mild liquid dish soap or a dedicated cleaning agent like TimberTech DeckCleaner.
